We started El Capitan Foods with one mission: to win over the pickiest of chefs. In the early days, our entire focus was food service—supplying tortillas and snacks that could hold their own in the most demanding kitchens. If it didn’t impress a chef, it didn’t leave our facility.
But somewhere between the early morning dough mixing and late-night chip tastings, we realized something: the same bold, clean, crazy-good food we were crafting for chefs deserved a spot in everyone’s pantry. So now, we’re bringing that same high standard to you—no shortcuts, no preservatives, and always made in gluten-free facilities.
We’re still a family-run business in Indianapolis, still obsessed with flavor, and still as picky as the chefs who helped shape us. Only now, you don’t need a restaurant kitchen to taste what we’re all about—just a good appetite and maybe a love for a little crunch.
